The Role
We are seeking an experienced product manager to own and manage the development of our ultrasonic antifouling products and systems. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to drive continuous optimization and development of products to achieve the company’s business goals. The ideal applicant will have an engineering or similar relevant degree and have at least 5 years’ experience leading the development of products and systems. Experience from the maritime or offshore industry is highly preferred.
This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE with some international travel to customer or partner locations as required
Role Responsibilities
- Analyse customer feedback and market trends to build product improvements and feature upgrades via Product Requirement Documents.
- Develop product strategies and build high quality product roadmaps.
- Own and develop the product pipeline, including evaluating trade-off decisions for investment
over multiple years. - Develop project plans and track progress, coordinate with engineering and other relevant
departments to ensure timely delivery of products. - Conduct and apply industry research, combined with insights from customer feedback, to
iteratively refine and progress the product roadmap. - Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or related fields preferred.
- Relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore O&G industry or Maritime industry
- Strong interest in technology, with excellent product thinking and user experience awareness.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required.
- Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn / Flexible with a can-do attitude
- Experience with Ultrasonics systems and / or electrical systems would be advantageous
