Terms and Conditions

Customer Support

Customer to provide access and necessary inductions and work permits (including hot works) for NRG Marine’s technicians as required. Electrical isolation and power supply to the control unit are to be arranged by the customer. Submersible pumps are required to be lifted by platform crew for installation. Cable trays (supply and installation) to complete the installation if required to be arranged by the customer.

Installation

Installation, commissioning, and start-up are based upon our standard of 3 hours per transducer. Detailed estimation will be provided as project progresses. Any additional hours required due to circumstances outside of NRG Marine’s control (inclement weather, shipyard delays, mobilisation delays etc.) will be charged in addition to the above unit price.

Work Location

The offered rates apply for Region/Country as specified within this proposal. If the location is changed the quote will be revised prior to the start of works.

Additional Parts

All spare parts outside of the work scope will be quoted and on written acceptance, will be charged in addition to this quotation. Freight covered by NRG Marine will be charged at cost + 10% handling.

Expenses

Any other billable items not mentioned in above inclusion list will be charged at cost + 10% handling.

Cancellation

Should the work scope be cancelled following the committal of any costs by Sonihull, we reserve the right to re-charge these at cost plus a 10% admin fee.

Pre-works

For the Sonihull system to be most effective it is recommended that the surface, pipework, structure shaft or hull should be cleaned, coated, or protected per standard procedures. The system works in conjunction with the antifouling/protection coatings to prolong the life to achieve reduced maintenance.]

Taxes

Taxes and duties imposed on import are at cost of client. Local sales taxes will be added (if applicable on final invoice).

Indemnity

NRG Marine and the customer shall defend, indemnify and hold each other’s officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any or all liability, loss, expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees or claims for injury or damages arising out of the performance of this agreement but only in proportion to and to the extent that such liability, loss, expenses, attorney’s fees or claims for injury or damages are caused by or are a result of torturous act, negligence or intentional acts or omissions of either party, its officers, agents or employees.

NRG Marine is not responsible for any type of accident or damage during the inspection or installation caused by the bad condition or maintenance of the systems aboard.

Abatement

The Supplier, is the carbon project owner, and as a result is also the owner of any and all carbon credits, and other offsetting or associated or similar benefits, from time to time in force or applicable, arising out of or in connection with the goods and/or the Services. Installation of Sonihull products creates ‘The Project’.

Trade Name

Sonihull is the trading name of NRG Marine Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom under Company Number 07070394 & VAT 985286955.
