Leisure Boating

Sonihull is 100% environmentally safe anti-fouling, there's no gelcoat etching or annual scraping and re-painting. With Sonihull, there is no leaching of poisonous biocides, no shedding of microplastics from ablative coatings and the low-powered ultrasound frequencies used are completely harmless to marine mammals and fish.

Every year in Europe, over 2,900 tonnes of microplastic is estimated to migrate into the sea from ablative anti-fouling coatings on leisure boats. In Norway, the Green Marina project, in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund, has proven that only three items are needed to maintain a clean leisure boat hull.
