Sonihull is Recognised in the Times Best Places To Work

We are thrilled to share that Sonihull has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK by The Sunday Times! This prestigious list includes incredible companies like Octopus Energy, Tui, and Vitality, and we’re honoured to be in such great company.

While we may be a pioneer in the maritime industry, based in Coventry, what makes Sonihull truly special is our people. The Sunday Times’ recognition is a testament to our commitment to our team of 27 dedicated staff. We believe in fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration. We encourage role-switching, offer travel opportunities, and actively seek input from our team during company town hall meetings.

Darren Rowlands at Sonihull shares, “While we continue to innovate to help our maritime customers improve their energy efficiency, it is crucial that we also look after our staff who make the growth of our company possible. Having the right company culture, where all of our staff feel valued and listened to, has resulted in excellent growth and success for Sonihull.”

One example of our commitment to our team is our half-day Friday policy. This initiative, suggested by our staff during a town hall meeting, has led to a boost in well-being with no drop-off in productivity whatsoever.

Winning a King’s Award for Enterprise last year and launching a sister company, Agitate, are just a few of our recent achievements. But our proudest accomplishment is the creation of a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard.

We’re delighted that The Sunday Times has recognised our efforts, and we look forward to continuing to build a workplace that attracts and retains highly talented employees. Here’s to many more years of growth, innovation, and success!
